CHOOSING THE RIGHT COLOUR, THE RIGHT SIZE

Because a hold isn't just a shape — it's also a visual marker and a setting tool.

A hold is more than its grip. Its colour guides the climber's eye across the wall, and its size shapes the difficulty of a move as much as its form does. Choosing both well means half the setting work is already done.

OUR COLOUR CHART

WE OFFER EVERY COLOUR ACROSS OUR ENTIRE RANGE, SPLIT INTO TWO FAMILIES.

Every colour is reproducible from one batch to the next thanks to the stability of our resins (see our [materials] page) — a hold ordered today will have the same shade as the same reference ordered six months from now.

What this means for you: a reliable colour code to organise your routes, with no unpleasant shade surprises on reorder.

HOW TO COMBINE COLOURS AND SIZES WELL

On a climbing wall, colour often marks a route or a grade; size, meanwhile, sets the intensity of the movement within that route. A few useful pointers for setting:

  • Mixing sizes and shapes within a single colour keeps routes from feeling monotonous.
  • Reserve bright (fluo) colours for marker holds or start/finish holds for better legibility from a distance.
  • Plan for ageing: our resins are UV-stabilised (see the materials page), so colour consistency holds up over time, even in high-traffic gyms.

What this means for you: less time spent hunting for the right reference, more time spent setting.
